In 2010, we were diagnosed infertile and told that in-vitro fertilization would be our only chance to have children of our own. In 2011, I had to undergo neck surgery to remove and fuse together herniated discs in my neck. As soon as I was healed, we jumped into treatment for having our children. I was 30 at the time we started. We underwent our first in-vitro fertilization treatment that gave us our beautiful miracle son, David. We had two frozen embryos that we transferred at the end of 2013 that resulted in a pregnancy, although it ended as quickly as it began. We have spent the last few years paying off the costs of those procedures and feel the time is right to try again. We desperately want to have a sister or brother for our little man. We know how lucky we are to have our little David and I think one of the biggest factors driving us to keep trying is to see David with a little brother or sister. He is the kindest little boy I have ever known and it breaks my heart to think he will never get the chance to have that bond siblings have. We know our little family isn't complete yet. As a woman, in two years I will be 35 at which is considered 'old' in the fertility world, so time isn't on our side in this matter. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated, even if it is just spreading the word of this fund or giving us a word of support. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about our life. James and I make a promise that any and all funds donated will ONLY go towards infertility treatment and medications. If there is any left, we will happily pass it on to others who are in the same position as we are.
