Ginger was rescued as a stray on the side of the road and starving to death.  She also had a terrible problem with her beautiful coat.  With one more procedure to go before adoption, Animal Aid will attend to the eyelid that is inverted or folded inward. This could cause Ginger a decrease or loss of vision, so it is an important procedure. With your pledge Ginger will be afforded an entropian procedure to care for the eyelid and then she will be 100 % ready for an adoption into a loving home.   Thanks to our generous volunteers and with your help, Ginger will be getting that second chance at life and will soon be in a happy loving home.  She is well on her way towards a full recovery as you can see below.  This picture is just after her spay was done. Our no-kill shelter takes in emergency, abuse and neglect cases as well as dogs and cats from various high-kill animal control facilities.  Animal Aid is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization which relies solely on donations and volunteer help
